Dietary fiber boosts the metabolism, gets the digestion going and supplies those good microorganisms in our Gut with energy that are responsible for our well-being.
But did you know that we often only eat 10g a day? That's not enough! The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends about 30g. More is more! "Too much" is not really possible with fiber, because it provides a quick and lasting feeling of satiety. This also helps you lose weight: because if you are well supplied with nutrients and feel full and satisfied for a long time, you are immune to food cravings.
The best sources are fresh vegetables, fruit, whole grains, pulses and nuts.

And leading researchers also agree: if our intestinal flora is in good shape, we feel fit all round.
