Let's start with the topic of CO2: We humans produce around 9,600 kg of CO2 per year through our consumption, diet, travel and energy consumption, and therefore make a significant contribution to climate change. So what can we do to neutralize these CO2 emissions?
One way to contribute to reducing CO2: give something back to nature and protect the forests + plant trees. As a magical wonder of nature, they absorb CO2 from the air and use it as an energy source for their roots, trunk, branches, leaves and needles. A tree converts approx. 22 kg of harmful carbon dioxide into oxygen per year through photosynthesis. And it does this all by itself with the pure power of nature.
So does this mean that trees help us to naturally convert the CO2 emissions we cause and thus make the world a better place? YES!
Unfortunately, it sounds easier than it is. We are losing around 30 million hectares of precious forest every year due to deforestation . Climate change is thus extremely accelerated and numerous animals lose their protection and habitat.
