    Nutrients & effect

    Inulin is a dietary fiber (+ prebiotic) that is extracted from the agave plant, among others. It is an indigestible dietary fiber.

    Advantages of inulin:

    • A single serving provides you with 4.5 g of fiber
    • Natural sweetness with few calories (204 kcal/100 g). 
    • Neutral taste that does not mask the flavors of other ingredients.
    • Dissolves well in liquids and is easy to use.

    Intake & size

    Stir 1 heaped teaspoon of the powder into your smoothie, yogurt or other creations.

    We recommend limiting the daily intake to a maximum of 5 g (= 1 heaped teaspoon). It is recommended to start with a slow increase of about 2-3 g per day. Due to the possible stimulating effect of inulin on intestinal activity, it is important not to exceed the recommended amount.

    Perfect for:

    • Cooking and/or baking to make cakes and cookies moist and to use as a binding agent.
    • Increase the creaminess in yogurt and/or other dairy products, such as ice cream.
    • Sweetening smoothies and co.
