Fast food, lack of sleep, everyday stress... Our body deserves a loving "rest & reset" from time to time so that we can feel good for a long time!

Gentle and safe: As you know, we at HER ONE are fans of a science-based approach.

We do not use aggressive substances - as far as we know, there is no scientific evidence to support this. A healthy Gut is pretty well able to heal itself. So let's concentrate on giving it everything it needs to do so.

This is because it is not only responsible for digestion, but for many other processes in the body: skin appearance, metabolism, mental performance, mood, hormone balance, immune system - inner balance is important so that we feel fit and healthy all round! This can be easily restored with a bowel cleanse. Ideally, a colon cleanse should last 1-3 months. Let's go:

1. probiotics, probiotics, probiotics.

Our Gut is inhabited by billions of microorganisms.

Probiotics (Latin pro = for, bios = life), or lactic acid bacteria, are good microorganisms that ensure health and balance.

However, stress, sugar, fast food, alcohol or medication can cause too many bad bacteria to spread. Our body then makes itself heard in a variety of ways: bad mood, bloated stomach, stomach rumbling, skin blemishes... All of this is a reflection of our gut.

What can we do? It's simple: support our inner life with friendly bacteria! Because they keep us happy and healthy from the inside out.

Synbiotics, i.e. a mixture of the friendly lactic acid bacteria probiotics and their power source prebiotics, are best suited for this.

For an extra immune boost, we recommend taking it on an empty stomach followed by your favorite fruit or smoothie.

Pro tip: an extra portion of psyllium husks in the morning makes your stomach feel good thanks to the mucilage it contains, which swells on contact with liquid.

2. eat bowel-friendly - here's how:

A colon cleanse is often carried out in conjunction with a fasting cure, in which solid food is partially or completely avoided for a certain period of time. But have you ever heard of alkaline fasting? Eat enough instead of starving! Here's how it works: Just make sure to keep your diet healthy, fresh and colorful for at least 3-4 weeks!

Taboo are: Sweets and sodas with refined sugar, alcohol, coffee, processed foods and ready meals, white flour products made from wheat, meat and animal products, as well as fried and deep-fried foods. Initially, you may experience slight symptoms of conversion, but don't worry: these are normal and should pass after 2-4 days.

Eat the rainbow: vegetables, fruit, seeds, nuts, herbs, cold-pressed oils... By nourishing your body and mind with delicious power food, you're not only doing your mood a huge favor, but also your gut microbiome!

3. stay hydrated!

Drink in any case 2-3L a day!

4. movement & meditation

Whether it's a walk, bike ride, gym session or yoga -

Find something that suits you and treat yourself to regular time-outs to breathe deeply and recharge your batteries. Regular exercise is not only good for Gut & digestion, but also clears your head, burns excess calories and boosts your metabolism.

"I can't meditate!" - Of course not!

We can all use exercises for more mindfulness more than well. Pure mindfulness meditation feels anything but relaxed at first, which is completely normal.

But regular practice not only increases our resilience and patience, but also our physical and mental health.
